Day 1: The group arrive in the Beautiful City of Barcelona!

The first flight arrives promptly and the first group are transferred by private coach to the Agora Residencia in the Mundet district on the outskirts of the city. A great location for youth Futsal teams.

Due to the early arrival, Adam, Callum and the boys relax in the grass area. Some chill out playing a game of keepy ups and some take each other on in a table tennis competition! Not much relaxation involved in this encounter!

A well deserved lunch at Agora gave the players the right fuel for their first training session of the tour.
The session was led by Romanian National Futsal Coach, Sito Rivera. Sito is regarded as one of the top coaches in the Futsal world and has been involved with four different Spanish Futsal teams as well as coaching in Japan and Italy. Through AMsportstours contacts in Barcelona, we have arranged for Sito to be involved with the groups training sessions through the five days. He will pass on some great knowledge to the players.

The three coaches, Sito Rivera (Romania National Futsal Coach), Marc Ventura (former FC Barcelona Futsal player and current Espanyol coach) and David Rivera (President and Head Coach of Mataro Futsal Club) give the players and coaches information before the session.

The players play a possession game in a tight circle. Key in helping them develop their touch and quickness of the feet.

On returning to Agora, the players get time to catch up on some much needed rest. The second group arrive in Barcelona and are welcomed at the airport by Steve (AMsports) and Marc Ventura.

Tomorrow the group will travel the short journey to Mataro to compete in the tournament. The players will be up against some talented Spanish players, some selected from Barcelona and Espanyol. This will be a great test for the players and a great experience that they can take away with them......
